Vinzia F.lli SpA is one of the world’s leading suppliers of pop up drains and components for the sanitary application..
In 2018, the company purchased a perchlorethylene SF 150 V system and, four years later, replaced it with a modified alcohol model which made it possible to significantly reduce consumption and emissions.

Let’s get to know Vinzia F.lli Spa better
The company was founded in 1980 and immediately stood out for its flexibility and high quality standards.
In addition to exhaust systems, spare parts and design items, the production of Vinzia F.lli Spa includes:
- a line of ceramic-coated products intended for major global ceramic manufacturers;
- customized solutions based on specific customer needs;
- plastic components made by an internal company specialized in the molding and injection of plastic materials.
All production takes place internally, only hot stamping operations are subcontracted but strictly controlled according to the specifications of Vinzia.
Over the years, numerous investments in cutting-edge technologies and materials have allowed Vinzia F.lli Spa to offer its customers products of superior quality.
The use of renewable energy sources, alternative materials and packaging has favored the optimization of production processes, costs and the reduction of the environmental impact.
It is precisely this “green approach” that has allowed the company to obtain numerous awards such as the NF, CSA, WATERMARK and WRAS Approvals for classic and click-clack exhausts and the ISO 9001: 2015 certifications.
All the components produced are completely Made in Italy.
Customer needs in 2018
When the Vinzia F.lli contacted FIRBIMATIC in 2018, they needed a metal cleaning system capable of eliminating residues of processing oils and polishing pastes from the surfaces of stainless steel pieces intended for the sanitary sector (drains, closures and drains for sinks) .
The customer was directed to a traditional solvent system, the SF 150 V model: the machine belonging to the Logica – SF – E series uses super-stabilized perchlorethylene, compatible with most metals, and ideal for removing:
- micro powders;
- polishing pastes.
The vacuum washing cycle and the solvent distillation process considerably reduce consumption.
The new solvent cleaning machine of Vinzia F.lli Spa in 2022
In 2022 new cleaning needs have emerged mainly linked to the growth in productivity levels and the desire to further reduce the environmental impact.
The initial perchlorethylene system will soon be replaced by one that uses modified alcohol as a cleaning solution, which is better because it does not have limitations in terms of emissions.
Furthermore, the washing cycle of the new system has a shorter duration: 15 minutes against the 20-25 minutes of the previous perc system.
